Mini Philly Trip

I'm  usually busy during the week but I had a day free, so I decided to take a drive to Philly. I'm super obsessed with this new podcast, Dirty John, so it wasn't like i was driving at all. 

I wanted to get the new Madewell sweater they came out with. 

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE shopping online. especially late at night when everyone is asleep I can't fall asleep . HA.

But my body is weird from nursing Remy and eating like crap. So not everything looks good. 

I will put jeans on if I totally have to but they definitely need to be high-rise so it can suck all my mom stuff in. HA.

So Madewell has been my go-to lately, they have a 10" high-rise that I'm totally in love with! I can wash them over and over again and the quality lasts, so I keep buying them. 

So I'm driving and listening to my podcast and before I know it I'm in Center City Philly parallel parking my car like a pro. BOOM!

I was in and out the store in less than 30 mins. hahahahaha. I was deinitly in the car driving longer than I was actually in the city itself. Remy is awesome in the car, he just eats, talks, and then goes to sleep, its really amazing. Then we get to the stores and he pulls all the clothing all over the place. Ooooh Remy. 

All in all it was a pretty chill Monday. I got to watch Hocus Pocus with the kids and snuggle up in the awesome sweatpants I got. WIN!

Birthday Weekend

This past weekend was my birthday, Friday to be exact and I spent it in Philly with some of my favorite people. On my birthday night one of my best friends, Anthony, and I got dinner at The Continental restaurant. I woke up wanting lobster mac and cheese so I was determined to get it. Haha. 

Anthony and I have known each other since we were about 8 or 9. He lived down the street from me growing up annnnd our birthdays were 4 days apart. We were destined to be friends for life ;)

And almost 20 years ago we had a birthday party together. I'm pretty sure it was a Barbie birthday too. Looking back, I feel kinda bad. HA. 

But almost 20 years later our birthday is a lot different, now we can drink ;)

I mean, who else is gonna take selfies with you outside the bathroom?! Your best friend! That's who!

Gooooooood times :) 

Then Monday morning rolls around and I wake up to Dylan telling me he peed in the bed, that I was sleeping in with him. So I torn off the sheets threw them in the washer and got Logan off for school. Only to get a phone call less than an hour later to come pick him up, he had a mild fever. He has been home from school for the past two day :-/

So reality set in really quick after the birthday weekend.

Beach Trip

Finally I've been waiting all summer to go to the beach! I mean, I can drive to the beach everyday, it's only an hour from my house. But being at the beach for 10 days its much better :)

So we got here last night, a four hour drive, but waking up here is worth it. 

This is the view from our condo. Beautiful! 

I can't wait to swim in the ocean and plan in the sand all week!! 

I was also in Philadelphia last week. The good old home away from home. Where strangers are friends and friends are family ;)

There is nothing better than having sleepovers with your girlfriends ;)

Hahahahaa. 

Now to have more fun at the beach with these crazy kids. Lol.

I think they are looking for Megaladon. Hahaha. Good luck with that, kids!
